Shipping - How it Works

Our promise to you is that we will always try to provide the cheapest postage costs for your order. We are all regular ebay traders with thousands of trades and know how annoying it is to get ripped off for postage.

If postage for your order is going be delayed significantly because somebody is on holiday for example, you will be alerted immediately by email. Your order will then be dispatched as soon as that person is available. Your items will be reserved until your order can be fulfilled.

Please remember this shop is being run by collectors and not full time traders and we all have full time jobs.

Postage Rates are based as follows :-

Postage rates for tapes are calculated by weight using standard British Postal service tariffs. You will be offered a number of alternative postage rates dependant on the weight of your order and level of service you require. Normal Post Office insurance is included as standard but if you wish to take additional insurance that can be arranged.

Overseas orders are based on British postal service rates but for larger orders there may be cheaper rates available. If this is the case you will be contacted prior to dispatch of your order to discuss the cheapest method of postage.

Should you have any special requirements for postage please place your order using the "collect from store" option and we will contact you to discuss any special arrangements.

By default we will always use the cheapest 1st class delivery method for orders within the UK and airmail for orders delivered outside the UK.

Larger orders will always be sent "signed for" to enable tracking of the order.

For Hardware - By item

Hardware items are individually quoted for postage

For both tapes and hardware the total cost of postage is capped at £12.50 for any amount of purchases up to 25Kg in weight. Over this weight and we will provide you with an individual quote.

This rate only applies to mainland United Kingdom - If you are ordering from abroad postage will be quoted before an order is accepted. Please appreciate this could be very expensive  for Hardware.

Returns and Damaged goods

All the items on this site are second hand.

With single cassette games it is often the case that the outer plastic shell case has some damage. This is reflected in the photographs of the items. If required these can be replaced with undamaged cases but this must be stated at the time of order.

The cases shown in the photographs are the ones I have received the tapes in, often these still have price stickers ect attached and are, as far as I know, the original ~20 year old cases.

With larger case games, i.e. Double cassette games we do not have stocks of new cases but if you request a new case on your order we will use best endeavours to replace the case. There is not a promise that we will be able to do this but we will try.

With large box games we cannot replace the boxes and you will receive exactly the item in the photograph.

With Hardware a full description of the item  will state its condition.

Hardware will be tested wherever possible and a true statement of its working condition will be included in the description.

Individual games can be considered as untested but we will, within reason, test games prior to dispatch.

We will consider refunds if the following conditions are met :-

We are notified as to the problem within 10 days of your order being dispatched

Any damage was was either not visible on the photograph or not quoted in the description.

If for any reason we have made a mistake with your order i.e. dispatched the wrong tape to you.

If a game will does not work. We will test any returned items on the appropriate real machines and if found to be faulty we will issue a refund. Return postage to us will be at your expense.

It is unlikely we will be able to offer replacements for any items due to the individuality of items.
